Governor of Rivers Nyesom Wike has endorsed Governor Babajide Sanwo-reelection Olu’s campaign wholeheartedly.
Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the best candidate for Lagos Governor, according to Wike, who has been engaged in a protracted argument with his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the selection of its presidential nominee, Atiku Abubakar.
He addressed at Victoria Island’s ongoing 22nd National Women’s Conference. The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) is hosting the annual conference, which has the theme “Spring Forth, Stand Out,” and it will end on Thursday.
According to Governor Wike, Lagos State’s participation of women in politics and decision-making helps it maintain its leadership position. He also expressed his awe at how comprehensive COWLSO was and made a commitment to apply all he learned at the conference.
Wike gave N300 million to COWLSO as part of his support for the organization.
