Kanye West is suspended from the microblogging service just hours after returning to Twitter due to a restriction on his Instagram account.
Kanye West, who was last spotted on the microblogging platform on Election Day in November 2020, has been warmly welcomed back by the richest man in the world, Elon Musk.
It took a limitation on Instagram for the Yeezy billionaire to start using Twitter again after his account had been inactive for almost two years.
The Grammy-winning rapper’s Instagram account was suspended over the weekend for allegedly posting something that was anti-Semitic.
The rapper had received criticism from the American Jewish Committee (AJC) for his language use in a now-deleted post that they claimed promoted “anti-Semitic themes like money and domination.”
That came right after the “Donda” singer published a screenshot of a text message discussion between himself and Diddy, in which it supposedly showed West asserting that Combs was under the control of Jews. Jesus is a Jew, he captioned the picture.
As a result, West switched his activities to Twitter, where he promptly criticized his estranged “nigga” Mark for the Instagram account limitation.
However, the Tesla CEO seized the chance to warmly reintroduce his “friend” Ye to the microblogging platform after a protracted absence.
He wrote: “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend.”
West promptly retweeted Musk’s message of welcome back. The Yeezy boss’ Twitter account, however, has also been suspended as of the time of this story due to the allegedly anti-Semitic statement.
The disputed tweet, which has since been deleted, was yet another anti-Jewish tirade.
“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going full death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE. The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” the tweet reads.
