Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), will meet with leaders of the organized private sector on Tuesday in Lagos.
The meeting would give the APC presidential candidate the opportunity to connect with the economic decision-makers and thought leaders in the business sector and answer their questions about his action plan for Nigeria.
According to a statement made by Bayo Onanuga, director of media and publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Abuja, the interactive session with business executives and industry titans would begin at noon at the Eko Hotel & Suites.
The town hall meeting was organized, according to Hon. James Faleke, Secretary of the Campaign Council, to provide Tinubu the opportunity to communicate his vision for a better Nigeria with various economic actors and to allow for a critical analysis of the policy alternatives presented in the Action Plan.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has a very rich private sector background and experience. He has an abiding faith in private enterprise and its fundamental role in national development and economic growth. The private sector needs power, predictability and consistency in policy to drive investment and boost national productivity.
“The dialogue will enable Business Leaders to also share their insights and concerns with our Presidential candidate. The town hall will be a great avenue to sell Asiwaju’s vision for Nigeria,” Faleke said.
On October 21, President Muhammadu Buhari introduced the Tinubu-Shettima policy proposal known as “Action Plan for a Better Nigeria.”
Since its release, the document has received favorable feedback from a range of economic sectors.
