Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the two leading candidates for the presidency in 2023, met on Monday.
Atiku and Tinubu ran into one another in Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.
Iyorchia Ayu, the beleaguered PDP National Chairman, was also present during the meeting.
Dele Momodu, a seasoned journalist and former PDP presidential candidate, revealed this.
Sharing a photograph of the trio via Twitter, Momodu wrote: “JUST IN, @atiku, TINUBU and @iyorchiayu meet at the airport VVIP lounge in Abuja.”
Since last week, the Tinubu and Atiku camps have been at odds as the campaign for the president in 2023 intensifies.
