Traffic is backed up as a result of the explosion, which happened in Araromi Town before the interchange.
It was discovered that some nearby drivers had scampered to safety.
The Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) reports that attempts are being made to contain the situation.
To avoid needless delays, the FRSC recommended drivers to seek alternate routes.
“The rescue operation is still on and people involved yet to be confirm because a bus is also involved.
“The crash scene cordoned off to avoid secondary crash, traffic has been diverted,” the commission said.
The commission also asked drivers to maintain their composure and work with traffic controllers to control the situation.
