Former presidential adviser Reno Omokri has compared Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi to a slack student who is unprepared for an exam.

In his opinion, Obi’s choice to suspend his campaigns due to flooding in some parts of Nigeria reveals that he is an unprepared candidate who is frightened of taking the exam.

On Wednesday, Obi urged other presidential contenders to halt their campaigns in order to assist flood victims.

In response to the former governor of Anambra’s choice, Omokri compared him to an ill-prepared, lazy student who wished for an accident to occur so that the exam might be postponed out of fear of failing.

Tableshaker countered that Obi fervently paused his campaign while hiding behind the excuse of the devastating flood because he was fully aware he wouldn’t secure the position of power or draw sizable crowds to his rallies.

He said: “Obi is like a lazy student in school who has not read for exams. So he prays for something bad to happen, so exams can be postponed. Obi knows he is going nowhere. He knows his rallies will be scanty. That is why he suspended his campaign, using floods as an excuse! #TableShaker.”

Over 603 people have been killed by the flooding brought on by recent excessive rainfall, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), which has affected nearly 2.5 million people in Nigeria over the past two months.
