The lawyers of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra, Mike Ozekhome SAN and Ifeanyi Ejiofor, got on their knees in a thanksgiving prayer as the Appeal court discharged and acquitted their client of the charges preferred against him by the Federal Government.
Before addressing the press, Ozekhome and the others got on their knees, while he prayed for the court, judiciary, Ndigbo and other tribes in Nigeria.
He later said, “Nnamdi Kanu was today discharged of all the remaining seven charges. Kidnap, torture and extraordinary rendition of Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya on the 26th of June, 2021, the lower court glossed over it.”
Later, Ejiofor was seen singing and dancing with supporters of the freed IPOB leader.
