A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Kwara State, Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has congratulated Dr. Mahmud Babatunde Ajeigbe on his appointment as the Director-General of the party’s Presidential Campaign in Kwara State.
Bintinlaye, in a statement by his Media Aide on Wednesday, said the party’s choice of Dr. Ajeigbe is a round peg in a round hole.
He said, “at the celebration of your birthday in August, I wished him many more years of service to the country; it didn’t only come so soon but an elevation. I must say that your appointment is putting the round peg in a round hole.
“You have been a thoroughbred gentleman and great reference. Indeed, You have served as a former member of the PDP National Convention Organizing Committee, Commissioner for Information & Communications (2015 – 2018), Special Adviser Parastatals (2018 – 2019), SSA Parastatals Monitoring & Compliance (2014 – 2015), Senior Special Assistant Agriculture (2012 – 2014) and SA NEPAD (2011 – 2012) at various times in the government of Kwara State. With this profile and more unlisted, we are assured that you will deliver on the job.
“I must also applaud your trajectory and expansion goal, and I can only urge you to stay focused and never compromise your core values,” Bintinlaye said.
Honourable Marooph Bintinlaye also congratulated D.D.Gs – Alh. Saka Babatunde (Kwara Central), Hon. Akanni Abdulraman (Kwara South) and Hajia Aisha Ahman Patigi (Kwara North).
Bintinlaiye thereafter wished them the best in their respective capacities.
