Airstrikes by the Nigerian Airforce (NAF) have killed 30 terrorists, including the infamous bandit commander Dogo Damina.

While gathering for a ceremony in Koli Village, Zamfara State, POLITICS NIGERIA learnt that the criminals had been killed by the Nigerian military.

At a media briefing in Abuja on Thursday, Director, Defence Media Operations (DDMO), Maj Gen Musa Damadami, said: “On 14 October 2022, following intelligence of bandits’ plan to converge at the residence of a notorious bandits’ leader, Lawali Gudau, aka Dogo Damina, for a ceremony at Koli village, in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, the air component of Operation Hadarin Daji conducted air bombardment at the terrorist leader enclave and neutralised over 30 terrorists as well as destroying their amoury in the strike.”
In addition, soldiers also killed 14 terrorists at the Maudi enclave on Tsora Hill in Katsina State’s Safana Local Government Area (LGA).
