Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has described the death of the grand Mufti of Offa, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Awaal Ballo Yayi has a blow to the Islamic faith as well the Tijaniyya.
Bintinlaye, on Friday, said Sheikh Yayi in his lifetime gave all he had to knowledge and spreading of Dawah to the nook and cranny of the country.
“Sheikh Yayi was a great leader in the Tijaniyya Sufi. He was an excellent source of Islamic knowledge and beyond. It is on the record that he was multilingual. People who encountered Baba when he was alive know that he was a pious, exemplary father and leader.
“Another thing I took away from Baba Mufti’s passing is that he shared the unique blessings Allah provided him with others, especially the younger generation. He gave individuals who had the same skills but needed to refine and polish them inspiration, instruction, and great examples. Nobody could ever count all of his accomplishments and legacies.”
Bintinlaye prayed that may Allah azzawajallah be pleased with the soul of grand Mufti of Offa, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Awaal Ballo Yayi and grant him eternal rest in Aljanat Al firdaws.
Fadhilat Shaykh Muhammad Al-Awaal Ballo Yayi was the younger brother of Shaykh Muhammad al Jami’ Shamsudeen Bulala.
