The 2023 Appropriations Bill has arrived at the National Assembly thanks to President Muhammadu Buhari.
After adjourning briefly and joining their counterparts in the House of Representatives to await the arrival of Buhari and his entourage, the Senate convened plenary at 9 am to approve the votes and proceedings from Thursday.
At precisely 10 am, the President and his entourage arrived.
Buhari greeted Speaker Gbajabiamila and Senate President Ahmad Lawan before the National Anthem was played to signal the start of the budget presentation’s proceedings.
