Veteran journalist and publisher, Dele Momodu, has advised Nigerians to make sure they take the first flight anytime they want to travel within the country.
He said this on his Instagram page on Friday, while sharing his experience at the Abuja airport, where travellers were getting agitated by the unplanned rescheduling of flights.
Momodu showed the scene at the airport with the caption, “Tempers are rising here at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja after news filtered out that our Air Peace flight which was moved from 4pm to 7pm has now been moved to 11pm.
“My advice to anyone travelling in Nigeria: Always take the first flight. I regret not doing so. The one to Bénin has just been cancelled outrightly. Passengers will turn this place to bedrooms. Ours have just been changed to 9.30pm. Endurance test.”
Hours after, he said that he and other passengers were on board, as the matter was resolved.
