The Labour Party (LP) and its followers are not to congregate at the Lekki toll gate for their #Obidatti23 Forward Ever Rally scheduled to take place on October 1, 2022, according to an injunction from the Federal High Court in Lagos.
The order’s author, Justice Daniel Osiagor, did not prevent the supporters from holding the protest in Lagos State.
Instead, the judge ordered that the rally procession could reach the Falomo Bridge and other locations where the rally planned to gather, but it could not converge at the Lekki toll gate.
The judge gave the Lagos State Police Commissioner and Inspector-General of Police instructions to make sure the ruling was followed.
