Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State, has been named by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the party’s chairman of the presidential campaign (PCO).

The governors of Bauchi State, Mr. Bala Mohammed, and Oyo State, Mr. Seyi Makinde, were also appointed to the organization as vice chairmen for the northern and southern areas, respectively.
Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, the campaign’s director general, will be assisted in his duties by Senator Liyel Imoke, Professor Adewale Oladipo, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, and Chief Okwesilieze Nwodo, who will be in charge of the campaign’s operations, administration, technical and systems, and research and strategy, respectively.

This hiring follows rumors that the governor of Akwa Ibom, Udom Emmanuel, had been named director general of Atiku’s presidential campaign.
