One person, Kamorudeen Quadri, 35, has been arraigned before the Osogbo magistrate court sitting for allegedly carting away N187,000 gadgets.
The suspect was docked on Wednesday on three-count charge bordering on unlawful possession and theft.
Police prosecutor, ASP Fagboyinbo Abiodun alleged that the defendant on 27th September, 2022 at Inisa Road, Ikirun Osun State, engaged in theft and thereby Committed an offence contrary to the Law.
The charge reads: “That you Kamorudeen Quadri steal one Infinix note 10 android mobile phone valued #94,000:00k the property of one Adebisi Saheed ‘m’ and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 383 and punishable under section 390 of Criminal code cap 34 vol.11 law of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002.”
“You Kamorudeen Quadri steal three mobile phones including one Itel mobile phone valued #10,000:00k, one Pall 5 android mobile phone valued #40,000:00k, one Techno android mobile phone valued sum of #40,000:00k and one Chaoba barbing Clipper valued sum of #3,000:00k all total valued #93,000:00k properties of one Salaudeen Abiola “m Hand thereby committed an offence contrary to section 383 and punishable under section 390 of the Criminal code cap 34 vol.11 law of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002.
“You Kamorudeen Quadri ‘m’ on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district did unlawfully having Flatron Television, Starlight Stabilizer and Qlink Stabilizer in your possession and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 430 of the Criminal code cap 34 vol.1 law of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002.”
The defendant however, pleaded not guilt to the allegations.
Defence counsel, Barrister kehinde Adepoju pleaded for the bail of the accused, noting that the alleged offences are bailable under the law.
The residing magistrate, A.K Ajala granted the defendant’s bail with N200,000 and one surety while he adjourned the case to 13th October for mention.
