….Party Prays for Atiku, Yaman, Rafiu, Oyeleke, Ibiyeye, Lukman’s Victory At Polls
As the 2023 election campaign approaches, Balogun Ward of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Offa, Kwara State held a prayer session for the party’s candidates on Sunday.
The prayer session was held for PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, Kwara State governorship candidate Alhaji Abdullahi Shuaibu Yaman, Kwara South Senatorial candidate Rafiu Ibrahim, Offa/Ifelodun/Oyun Federal Constituency candidate Hassan Oyeyemi Oyeleke, Eesa/Shawo/Igbodun constituency candidate Chief Mrs. (Hon) Abolaji Iyabo Ibiyeye and Balogun/Ojomu State Constituency Ambassador Salaudeen A. Lukman.
It took place at the Balogun Ward meeting hall, Offa, with Pastor John Badmus leading the Christian prayers while the trio of Alfa Mudashir Balogun, Naibi Imam of Awudere Mosque, Sheu and Alfa Surajudeen did the same for Muslims.
The jointy prayer session had party’s stakeholders, supporters and members in attendance.
In a related development, Honourable Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye donated a sum of #50,000 to the prayer session.
This disclosure was made by his Media Aide.
Bintinlaye said the joint prayer session was held to seek divine intervention as the party begins campaign September 28th.
Bintinlaye pointed out that the programme was designed to use prayer as a powerful tool to connect the PDP’s candidates— from presidential to state house of Assembly — with God’s vision and objectives.
He continued by describing the PDP as a political party with the necessary political vision and resolve to advance Nigeria and her people.
