Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received more “spiritual boost” from clergy around the nation since he emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.
Former governor of Lagos, Tinubu, has established a political brand with a track record of influence and impact throughout Nigeria.
Prominent clergy have lent their support to Tinubu, joining the ranks of many more ardent followers and lovers.
These well-known religious leaders have publicly stated their support for Tinubu:
1. Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe (Genesis)
During a sermon, the cleric clarified that ‘Jababan’ has his unwavering support because he (Oladele) is not a bastard.
Oladele declared that he would never vote for someone else over his tribesman, regardless of how everyone felt about it.
2. Bishop Kayode Williams
Here is a religious leader who is adamant that Tinubu is God’s choice for the presidency in 2023.
The ferocious clergyman, who is also the national coordinator of Integrity Ministers International Ministries, endorsed Tinubu wholeheartedly.
In one of his many interviews, He said: “If you look at Bola Ahmed Tinubu, if you look at his antecedents you will know that he’s a man who always studies very hard. Before he makes decisions and even when he starts because we are following him.
“But God has decided to ask us that His candidate from heaven to earth is Tinubu and that we as Integrity Ministers International Ministry should support him and collaborate with him, so we are all round moving with him to know the steps he’s taking.”
3. Pastor Sunday Adelaja
He is the creator of the Kyiv, Ukraine-based Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations.
Since then, Adelaja has prophesied that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win.
Adelaja predicted that Tinubu would win the presidency by a landslide in 2023.
4. Pastor Alamu David:
In Lagos’ Abule Egba Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), he serves as the head pastor. In 2023, he predicted, Tinubu will succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
The cleric, in a statement, explained: “God revealed to me on the 24th June 2008 that a man with the name Bola Ahmed Tinubu will rule the nation, Nigeria for its betterment and I have a strong faith that the time is here; 2023. ‘Baba is unstoppable’”
He appealed to members of the APC and Nigerians “all over the world, irrespective of their tribe, religion and political party to support this revelation so that the plan of God towards our nation, Nigeria can manifest.”
5. Pastor John Desmond
Pastor John Desmond, the president of the Young Professionals of Nigeria (YPN), has lobbied for support for Tinubu.
During a South East sensitization tour for young professionals who are APC members, Desmond made the call in Umuahia, Abia State.
Desmond asserted that Tinubu has the guts, the foresight, and the ability to change Nigeria.
