Three suspected cultists and serial killers who are alleged to be members of the infamous Eiye Confraternity are believed to be responsible for terrorizing the people of Ijebu Ode and the surrounding areas, have been apprehended by the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Police.
According to reports, the suspects, Odukoya Odushina, Subomi Popoola, and Itunuoluwa Taiwo, were alleged to be responsible for numerous cult murders in the neighborhood.
Police spokesperson Abimbola Oyeyemi said in a statement yesterday that the suspects were detained following information on their whereabouts being received at the Obalende Police divisional headquarters in Ijebu Ode.
Oyeyemi said the members were “holding nocturnal meeting at a black spot known as Sanga at the back of Central Mosque, with a plan to unleash terror on members of the community.”
