The National Council on Climate Change was established by President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Just before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting for the week got underway, the President conducted the inauguration ceremony.

Ogunlade, who served as Minister under the late General Sani Abacha, will be remembered for his selfless contributions to the development of the country, according to Mr. Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, President Ibrahim Gambari’s chief of staff, and Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the head of the Federation’s Service, are all physically present at the meeting.

Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, Abubakar Malami, the minister of justice, Babatunde Fashola, the minister of works and housing, Abubakar Aliyu, and others are also in attendance.

Several other cabinet members are taking part digitally from their separate Abuja offices.
