— Says he’ll make Nigeria great
A ranking former Member of the House of Representatives (MHR) from Osun State, Ayo Omidiran has extolled the uniqueness of the former governor of Lagos and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, just as 2023 general election campaigns began.
Addressing journalists Thursday in Osogbo, Osun State, as a special guest on a radio personality programme hosted by a Yoruba movement group, ‘Yoruba Ronu’, Omidiran said Tinubu has a unique selling proposition which distinguished him from other presidential aspirants.
According to the former legislator, who is also head of Women’s Wing of a pro-Tinubu group, the South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), clear vision, passion and action were distinguishable attributes of Bola Tinubu.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a very brilliant man with great intellect. And as SWAGA’s motto reflects the personality of Asiwaju, he’s visionary, passionate about his causes and is a man of action.
“Those are the three attributes that we really need now in Nigeria for any body to rule and move us to a higher level.
“Tinubu already has his manifestoes and blueprints for Nigeria’s greatness, just as he had for Lagos when he was governor that had been sustained up till now.
“I believe that by the time we have Asiwaju as our president, Nigeria will never be the same again”, Omidiran said.
Speaking further on Tinubu’s potentials and credentials for good leadership, she said he stood out as the only contender that can fix Nigeria’s socio-economic problems.
She said that Asiwaju’s antecedents and legacies left behind in Lagos remained a recourse for current developmental status of the state and as a model for other states in the country, adding that he would replicate same if elected president of Nigeria.
With Ayo Omidiran on the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) live programme was the Coordinating Director of ‘Yoruba Ronu on Radio’, Jimoh Olorede and the Anchor master, Bosun Oyedele.
