Nigeria And The Road To 2023 General Elections

It is about time, the book definition of government grows an arm that explains the reality between what a government is supposed to be, and what a government currently is, in Nigeria.

If not for anything, but to open the eyes of little children in their formative stage that most often than not, ingest the content of a book; cover page, introductory, glossary, down to the biography end of the cover.

Current development in the political sphere serves to corroborate an already established fact that Nigeria as a country is walking the path of constructive destruction unchallenged and unchecked by powers in charge and learned individuals who most of the time now, sit idle and watch with defeated passion, as the degenerative masquerade called Nigeria dance towards moribund.

While citizens stood by the sideline as passionate spectators, ululating and enjoying the entertaining carnage and gradual destruction being unleashed in the wake of the masquerade offbeat steppings.

They in power have found themselves a new hobby; stepping out of the confines of well-established fakery to showcase the truth that governing rules, law, and paid media outlets have fought hard to cover up under big, corporate suits, and morally starched Agbada.

Or how do you explain the various outcries about delegates collecting huge amounts of money as bribes to enlist political aspirants while they deploy armed forces on election days to harass things they legalized within closed doors?

To say it is sickening is an understatement. But the reactions from we speculating citizen is the most interesting of them all.

It is an Era of Cruise and violence-hungry Netizens who care more about the thrill and where to find the next dose of violence, major unearthing and not what comes out of it in judgment and sanction.
And our politicians being who they are, are cashing out big. Dishing us hot Gbas Gbos violence and dirty content online knowing we live for the thrill and not retribution while they drum and drop the killer beat for the masquerade called Nigeria to dance to towards the proverbial cliff that leads to utter destruction.

May Nigeria succeed.
