When I shout and exclaim, many believe me but a few redundantly hyper partisan loyalists of the outgoing Governor of Osun State believe I hate their Leader. I do not hate Oyetola but I love Osun State more. This is another in the litany of nepotism proofs against Mr Oyetola. Since he became Governor through the back door it has been concentrated attention to Iragbiji where he hails to the detriment of other equally deserving communities and that is one of his biggest flaws that cost him the office he did not wish to relinquish, recall he said he won’t surrender power at his last campaign rally. In his words on that Tuesday, quoting Oyetola, “Emi lokan Mii gbele mo.”
Now to the crux of this matter of concern, in continuation of Mr Governor’s desperation to foul the civil service and create landmines for the new administration of the Governor Elect, Oyetola have now went overboard beyond the accusation of financial infractions, assets fleecing and contracts rush to the alarming damage of the extant rules guiding the service.
As reflected in the attached new letter of appointment, which was carried out 3 days after Oyetola and APC lost their reelection bid, the Outgoing Governor have appointed a woman from his hometown of Iragbiji as Executive Secretary of the State Primary Health Care Development Board amidst suspicion and rumour of possible amorphous relationship. As if that nepotism was not enough, the lucky Lady is without the requisite eligibility requirements for qualification. The law says anyone who is to be appointed must have a Masters in Public Health apart from bagging MBBS degree.
Dr Olubukola A. Olujide is not a Masters Degree Holder, yet Governor Oyetola hurriedly appointed her 3 days after defeat. Her main qualification weight is that she knows the Governor intimately and she is from Iragbiji.
Dear Speaker Timothy Owoeye of Osun State House of Assembly, are we going to fold our alms while Oyetola desecrates Osun State totally within his few months left before the expiration of his tenure. We call on our Royal Father’s such as Kabiesi Ooni, The Owa Obokun, Ataoja, Orangun of Ila among other top Obas to rise to the occasion by advising Mr Outgoing Governor, that there must be a State after he ceases to be Governor, hence why he Oyetola should tread softly sake for his reputation.
My name is Akintunde Bello Sheriff ABS.
