The Voice of Nigeria has stated its determination to collaborate with NYSC Radio and Television stations.

The Deputy Director, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, Garba Danazumi Lere disclosed this today when he led some staff of the media outfit on an unscheduled assessment tour of NYSC Radio and Television stations domiciled at the National Directorate Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.

He expressed satisfaction on the quality of broadcasting equipments at the two stations.

“We want to collaborate with NYSC, we have over six years experience in radio and television to share with NYSC”, he said.

The Director of Press and Public Relations of the NYSC, Mr Eddy Megwa who received the team on behalf of the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Muhammad Kaku Fadah took the VON team round the radio and television studios.

He said NYSC established the stations to give wide publicity to Corps Members’ contributions to national development adding that NYSC Radio and Television stations will also give more publicity to Federal Government programmes.

He said the Scheme has resuscitated its bakery, bottled water and garment factories in order to service NYSC Orientation camps for the benefit of Corps Members during camp periods.

Megwa also promised the VON team that their requests and observations will be conveyed to the Director General as the Scheme awaits their next visit.
