Husband of Mrs. Alakija, the richest woman in Africa, didn’t marry her as the richest, he probably married a business woman, she grew up being the richest.
Aisha Buhari didn’t marry Buhari as President, she married him a soldier and he grew up to be an Head of state, even a president.
Mrs. Dolapo Osinbanjo married a lecturer, he grew up being a Vice President.
Wole Soyinka’s wife didn’t married him as the first African to win nobel prize in Literature, she married a student and a lecturer.
So is Awolowo, J.P Clark, Nnamdi Azikwe, Sanusi Lamido, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, etc.
Even when we surf histories back, we shall find enough examples that encyclopedias couldn’t contain. Either or both partners grew up from nothing or something of not that important, rised up and shook the world. They both worked, sweated, prayed, strived for it.
In the end, they both take the glory. It never matter how many years it took; they reached the destinations eventually and they are fulfilled. I’m still waiting for gains without pains.
Either of the two didn’t go for ready-made partners like nowadays singles, they probably prayed or worked or both for one.
