The Agboba residents in Ilorin, Kwara State capital have lamented over poor electricity supply.
According to one of the resident, Miss Motunrayo who spoke to journalists over the situation lamented that they had expected the situation to improve with the privatisation of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), but regretted that the supply of electricity has continued to be epileptic within the area.
According to the analysis been given by Miss Motunrayo, she said that although they had been experiencing power outage since Thursday morning, the situation had worsened since five days now.
Areas mostly affected include Agbooba, Baboko, Eruda, Isalekoto among others in the state capital.
Another person, who pleaded anonymity also complained of erratic power supply adding that the situation had deteriorated in the last five days now.
“We hereby called on the attention of the kwara state government to kindly listen take note of this.” he said.
