Honourable Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Kwara State has felicitated with the Olupo of Ajasse-Ippo, His Royal Highness, Olupo Ismail Atoloye Alebiosu on the occasion of one year on the ancestral Throne.

This was contained in a statement signed by Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye Media (HMBM) on Wednesday, June 22.

“I wholeheartedly felicitated with the Olupo of Ajasse-Ippo, His Royal Highness, Olupo Ismail Atoloye Alebiosu, the good people of Ajasse-Ippo, Olupo Ancestry, Ìgbómìnà and the entirety of Kwara State on the occasion of one year on the Throne of his forefathers.

“It is a deserved honour that Olupo Yahaya Alebiosu has been chosen to serve as the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo.

“I also want to explicitly clarify that since the beginning of his rule, Olupo Alebiosu has been giving Ajase-Ippo, Iran Olupo, and indeed the whole of Ìgbómìnà the recognition, respect, and support they deserve.

“He ensures their wellbeing and comfort at all times. This has tremendously aided our royal forefathers in carrying out their customary duties.

“The monarch treats everyone equally and carry them along as he fulfills his duties. The sustained peaceful coexistence among his people is proof of his impartiality in ensuring that the community’s decision prevails.” Honourable Bintinlaye wrote.

Honourable Marooph Bintinlaye afterwards prayed that may the Monarch live long on the Throne of his fathers.

Olupo Ismail Atoloye Alebiosu has always stood for truth, justice, equity, good governance, and other admirable values, according to the honorable Marooph Bintinlaye.

Bintinlaye urged all well-meaning Yoruba sons and daughters as well as all Nigerians living in Nigeria and abroad to continue praying for the monarch, who has demonstrated his love for his subjects and made significant sacrifices for the prosperity and advancement of the Yoruba people as well as Nigeria more broadly.

He prays the Olupo reigns on the throne of his forefathers for a very long time.

Recall Ismail Yahaya succeeded Sikiru Atanda, who died in February, as the Olupo of Ajasse-Ippo.

He was administered the oath of office on Thursday 24th June, 2021.
