As Political Parties are rounding off their Primary elections to determine their flag bearers in the 2023 general polls, the Kwara State Chapter of the Zenith Labour Party ZLP will hold its gubernatorial Primary election on Wednesday, 1st of June, 2022 at the Party’s Secretariat, along New Yidi, Road, beside Circular Hotels, Ilorin by 2:00pm.
According to the State Chairman of the Party, Alhaji AbdulRahman Omotosho, over 45 delegates across the 16 local Government areas of the state are expected to Converge for the exercise which will hold under tight Security.
It would be recalled that Alhaji Usman Danjuma has been the only Party aspirant who is aspiring for the gubernatorial seat under the ZLP in the State and according to him, if given the mandate will not derail from the philosophy and Policy of the Party geared towards moving the state to the enviable height .
The Party is also bill to hold it’s Presidential Primary in Abuja on Saturday, 4th June, 2022 to determine who becomes Party flag bearer in the Presidential race.
