… Commends Bukola Saraki, PDP Leadership
Hon. Marooph Bintinlaye has congratulated Honourable Hassan Oyeyemi Oyeleke, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim and other candidates who emerged consensus candidates of the People’s Democratic Party in Kwara State for the 2023 general elections.
Honourable Oyeleke is the party’s concensus candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, while Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim is the Kwara South concensus senatorial candidates.
This was contained in a statement signed by his media team on Tuesday.
Honourable Marooph Bintinlaye also commended the leadership of the party in the state over the ability to provide enabling environment for the affirmation in the primary election of aspirants contesting for different positions.
“Indeed this is a remarkable and powerful time in the history of our party, the PDP. And I can but appreciate the effort and understanding dispensed towards achieving this. Everyone knows how important this election is to us and every hand was on deck towards achieving victories at the poll.
“First, I appreciate the party leader and presidential candidate of our great party, Dr. Bukola Saraki CON. He has again displayed astute leadership.
“When our leader could have effectively pushed a candidate on other candidates who refused to step down for one another, he however did opposite by allowing consensus; by this, he demonstrated his commitment to democratic ideals, fairness, justice, and peace. This will rekindle people’s hope in the party as their best alternative in the 2023 general elections..
“Also, I congratulate my brothers and sisters who emerged as flagbearers of our party; Honourable Hassan Oyeyemi Oyeleke, Engr Dare oni and the Bobaselu of Erin-Ilé, Chief (Senator) Rafiu Ibrahim. Indeed the party found great and worthy personalities in all. They are my brothers, advisers and confidants. And I am sure they will bring nothing short of victories for the party at the polls.
“Also, Chief (Mrs) Bolaji Iyabo Ibiyeye-Adisa For Kwara State House of Assembly Essa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency; Ambassador S.A Lookman an for Kwara State House of Assembly Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.
“Ambassador Solomon Alabi Rotimi for Isin, Honourable Femi Oyetunji Abolarin of Oke Ogun Constituency, Barrister Obayomi Azeez Olaitan for Share/Oke Ode, Honourable Sayo Amos for Ekiti Constituency.
“I also congratulate Honourable Abdulwahab Oladimeji Issa and Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Ajia who emerged as candidates for Ilorin East/Ilorin South and Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituencies respectively.
“And others I can not recollect at the moment.”
He also applauded the PDP electoral committee and Kwara South PDP senatorial chairman, Comrade Bisi Fakayode for a job well done.
Finally, he charged them to align teams, tactics, and resources in the party’s best interests as the 2023 elections near.
