The Federal Polytechnic Offa is set to resume on Monday, if the National body of The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) calls off strike.
It would be recalled that ASUP embarked on 2 week definite strike, which ends tomorrow (Saturday).
According to a verified source, he said “FEDPOFFA is a strong branch of ASUP. The ASUP national President came to school last week and they held Congress. So if they will extend it, the ASUP FEDPOFFA won’t declare continuation of semester.
“I was in their meeting with the management, the National president himself said the strike is definite and is just a form of protest.
“The Monday resumption can even give FEDPOFFA the grace to write examinations. That is the fact.”
